北美華人生物醫(yī)藥協(xié)會(huì)是一個(gè)非盈利性的生物醫(yī)藥專業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)。 該協(xié)會(huì)總部位于舊金山灣區(qū)，這里不僅是硅谷所在地, 也是生物科技的起源地及全球最大的生物科技重鎮(zhèn), 有逾千家大小的生物醫(yī)藥公司。全美最大三家生物科技公司中，就有兩家在舊金山灣區(qū) (Genentech公司 和 Gilead公司; 另一前三大公司AMGEN在該區(qū)也設(shè)有研究中心)。我們協(xié)會(huì)是一個(gè)有兩千多名成員組成的有重大影響力的生物醫(yī)藥專業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)。成員中70% 擁有生物醫(yī)藥及相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位，有相當(dāng)比例的成員擔(dān)任美國(guó)生物醫(yī)藥公司高級(jí)研究及管理職位，不少是生物醫(yī)藥科技各領(lǐng)域的專家及學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人，也有勇于創(chuàng)業(yè)創(chuàng)新的企業(yè)家。作為北美最大最為活躍的華人生物醫(yī)藥協(xié)會(huì)，及置身于生物醫(yī)藥第一重鎮(zhèn)的獨(dú)特條件，美華藥協(xié)廣泛開展促進(jìn)中美生物醫(yī)藥交流，為中國(guó)的科技園區(qū)及生物醫(yī)藥行業(yè)提供一個(gè)理想的推介與吸引科技項(xiàng)目與人才的平臺(tái)。 除我們經(jīng)常舉辦的科技與商業(yè)研討會(huì)之外，我們每年舉辦的  已被 視為生物醫(yī)藥界一個(gè)促進(jìn)中美交流的主要活動(dòng)之一，吸引來自美國(guó)和中國(guó)的五六百名從事生物制藥業(yè)的專業(yè)人士和企業(yè)領(lǐng)袖參加。我們創(chuàng)辦的專業(yè)雜志“”也是我們的促進(jìn)中美交流的重要渠道。

北美華人生物醫(yī)藥協(xié)會(huì)在中國(guó)尋求合作

在最近幾年里，中國(guó)在生物醫(yī)藥科技領(lǐng)域迅速崛起。我們的成員也對(duì)回國(guó)尋求合作及發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì)表現(xiàn)了極大的興趣，許多成員已經(jīng)回國(guó)創(chuàng)業(yè)或擔(dān)當(dāng)重要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)職位。為了進(jìn)一步滿足美華藥協(xié)成員的需求，我們將在中國(guó)積極尋求如下幾方面的合作。
 

1. 共同舉辦藥物研發(fā)會(huì)議/大會(huì);

2. 派生物醫(yī)藥考察團(tuán)攜帶創(chuàng)業(yè)項(xiàng)目考察各地科技園區(qū)尋求合作;

3. 作為聯(lián)結(jié)中國(guó)生物醫(yī)藥業(yè)與舊金山灣區(qū)生物科技業(yè)的主要橋梁,為來自中國(guó)的政府、科技園區(qū)及企業(yè)的代表團(tuán)組織推介活動(dòng)及商務(wù)洽談;

4. 邀請(qǐng)中國(guó)生物醫(yī)藥業(yè)的領(lǐng)軍人士來美做報(bào)告, 特別是美華藥協(xié)舉辦的 ;

5. 合作與贊助詳情:

The Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society (CABS) is a non-profit organization for professionals in the biopharmaceutical industry, headquartered in San Francisco, California. We have over 2,000 members and participants. While many of our members are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the largest biotechnology hub of the world and the birthplace of biotechnology, we also have members in other parts of the U.S. and in the Pacific Rim countries including China. The majority of our members are scientists in biopharmaceutical companies, universities and research institutions, but we also have a strong presence of professionals from legal, finance and venture capital fields that are focused on life sciences. Three quarters of our members have a doctorate degree and approximately half of our members hold leadership and management positions in the biopharmaceutical industry.
OUR MISSION:

To serve biopharmaceutical professionals of Chinese heritage or with professional interests in China, and promote professional interactions
To foster business opportunities and exchanges in the life science industry between the U.S. and China
To promote public awareness of progress and development in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry
To collaborate with other organizations in areas of mutual interest
